Making Decision-Making Visible—Teaching the Process of Evaluating Interventions

Significant efforts in the past decades to teach evidence-based practice (EBP) implementation has emphasized increasing knowledge of EBP and developing interventions support adoption practice. These have resulted only limited sustained improvements daily use clinical most health professions. Many new with evidence effectiveness are readily adopted each year—indicating openness change is not problem. The selection an intervention outcome elaborate complex cognitive process, which shaped by how they represent problem their mind mostly invisible processes others. Therefore, thinking process that appropriate should be taught more explicitly. Making visible clinicians increases acquisition skills required judiciously select one over purpose this paper provide a review critical analysis appropriately decide trial or strategies patients.
